Statement layouts for most banks are recognised automatically — no template setup required, so formats convert without per-bank configuration.

How accurate is the extraction?

Every conversion runs a balance check: the opening balance plus the sum of extracted transactions must equal the closing balance. The result is shown before you download.

What happens if the balance check fails?

The conversion still produces output, but it is flagged. A failure usually means a page was missing from the PDF or a wrapped description line was split, both of which are visible in the transaction preview.

Should I review the output before posting it?

Yes. Validation catches arithmetic inconsistencies, but the export should still be reviewed before it is posted to a ledger or relied upon for filing.

How long are my files kept?

You choose at upload time: immediately, one hour, 24 hours or 30 days. The default is 24 hours. Deletion removes both the source file and the extracted data.

Are my documents used to train AI models?

No. Documents and extracted transactions are never used for model training and are not shared with third parties for that purpose.

How is my data encrypted?

Files are encrypted at rest with AES-256 and travel over TLS 1.3 in transit. Access is scoped per account at the database level.

Can I cancel at any time?

Paid plans renew monthly and cancelling stops future renewals. Usage already incurred is not refunded.
